Thinking through Images: Limerick to London



2nd Year Students of the School of Architecture, University of Limerick, wish to invite you to the opening of their photographic exhibition ‘Thinking through Images: Limerick to London’ at 5pm, Tuesday 20th April 2010, with light refreshments kindly provided by SofA, the Society of Architecture.

The exhibition will take place in the Upper Exhibition Space of the School of Architecture Studio, CG-042.

The photographic work was undertaken by the students over the course of six weeks as part of their Drawing and Representation module and explores themes of intensity, character, territory and composition in the cities of Limerick and London. We would like to thank photographers Eoin Stephenson and Maurice Gunning for their involvement in this module.

Directions to the Exhibition:
Room CG-042 is behind the main university reception desk. The exhibition is upstairs in the studio space.

Alternatively, the exhibition can be accessed from near the Sundial adjacent to the Stables area. Please follow the signs.

Clancy Moore, 12.04.10



Andrew Clancy and Colm Moore both studied architecture at UCD, with Andrew graduating in 2001 and Colm in 2002. They established Clancy Moore Architects in 2006. They are also studio tutors in 3rd year of the Dublin School of Architecture, DIT. Clancy Moore have been the recipients of numerous awards, including 2009 RIAI awards for Lake House and the reconfiguration of SS George and Thomas Church in Dublin, as well as an AAI award in the same year for the latter

They will be speaking in CG-042, the architecture studios at the University of Limerick on Monday April 12th at 6pm
